Brief info

Experience: Ethan "Lovey" Acker was first introduced to BJJ at the age of 4 years old. Progressing through the belt ranks, he would consistently compete at various tournaments such as IBJJF, JJWL, & NABJJF. His biggest achievement was in 2017, winning a bronze medal at the IBJJF World Championships as a juvenile. Supplementing his BJJ, Lovey joined the wrestling program in high school. He graduated in 2018 as a 3 year captain. Eventually in 2023, Lovey received his black-belt from his father, Prof. Troy Acker, alongside master Carlson Gracie Jr.
Background: Born in Lake Forest, California, Lovey grew up playing multiple sports alongside jiu-jitsu such as wrestling, baseball, and football. Upon graduating high school, he spent 2 years working at the IBJJF HQ as an assistant to the Digital Media director. As of today, Lovey works full time here at OCCG.
Hobbies: Enjoys teaching bjj, and spending time with his family.
